I wish that I was able to stay longer in Japan and keep going to these classes- I just started to feel as though I was getting to know the other people who came to the classes, starting to get more integrated into the community, and starting to get a hang of the techniques necessary for ikebana. I never thought I would be spending a good amount of time with such a range of Japanese people brought together by ikebana!
