Description: This NPO’s mission is to protect and preserve parkland — prefectural, provincial, or local parks. “Parks” may be brady thought to include culturally or historically important built environments.
Level of Japanese Required: Intermediate
Typical Day: The interns can choose from a range or activities. Interns usally designed educational programs, researched on endangered secies, cleaned parks, and assisted nature conservation works. Interns typically work at Nozawa Park, though other locations are available.
